Playing to a solid response at the Cannes Film Festival, Foxcatcher, the latest from Bennett Miller, of Moneyball and Capote previously, is a fact-based true crime account of Olympic wrestling brothers Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo) and their relationship with eccentric coach/mentor John du Pont (Steve Carell).
Despite the pairing of Tatum and Carell, Foxcatcher is in no way a comedy. This quick one minute teaser sets the tone of what looks to be a morbid curiosity in terms of subject matter and acting performances by Tatum and Carell.
