#1~ One week after the hugely successful and fantastic Takeover event, NXT has to keep this momentum going. It seems like ever since their first live special, NXT’s stock keeps rising. What’s strange is that even though it has the same production value and people running the show, NXT FEELS like I’m watching a different company than the WWE. Maybe that’s why I’m content with NXT being my one “WWE-escape federation” instead of TNA.

#2~ I have to believe that if Mojo Rawley didn’t have such famous friends, he wouldn’t be working for the WWE. But if he has to stick around, please, please, PLEASE lose the Earthquake/Banzai Drop. It looks terrible and just silly in today’s wrestling environment.

#3~ Even though it’s on NXT & it’s slightly based on Total Divas, I know I can’t be the only one who loves that Tyson Kidd doing something relevant. Kidd may be in the top #5 in-ring workers WWE currently employs, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen him in a bad match. If it takes him having to portray the jealous husband in order for him to breakthrough to the next level then so be it.

#4~ There’s no doubt in my mind that Charlotte needs more seasoning in NXT but after seeing what she is capable of with a veteran like Natalya, I’d love to see her take on more experienced women on NXT to really hone her skills before moving up to the main roster.

#5~ Do Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan remind anyone else of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin? And no, not because one guy is black and the other is white. Their in-ring style, chemistry as a team and hell even their ring gear is similar to the World’s Greatest Tag Team. Even Jordan’s finisher is the Angle Slam!

#6~ Tyler Breeze, the new #1 contender to the NXT Championship (and newest golden boy after his fantastic performance against Sami Zayn last week) has his own music video. And it’s not just any music video, it’s the new video for his new self-performed theme song, “#MMMGorgeous”:

#7~ Another terrific match from Adrian Neville against Tyson Kidd’s former tag team partner, Justin Gabriel. I’ll never understand why Gabriel and Kidd aren’t tagging again now that Kidd is 100 percent. Both of those men deserve so much more than they’re getting but when they do get in the ring with someone like Neville, it’s a damn treat to watch. Another solid show from NXT and once again I can’t wait for next week.
