Over the past few weeks, the three former members of The Shield have certainly held their own in their new respective individual roles. However, in my opinion, while Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have done just fine, the real breakout singles star of the group — or at least the one that stands out to me the most — is Dean Ambrose.
Dean Ambrose has always been one to watch due to solid promo work and a great brawling wrestling style that is unique to him due to his awesome mannerisms, but it is still great to see him excel at this level as a solo performer.
The Ambrose tease at Money In The Bank was done to perfection, and the crowd responded in kind. Then, on Raw, Ambrose set up the scenario that wherever Rollins goes and whenever Seth tries to cash in, Dean will be there to stop him.
This is just an excellent pro wrestling angle unfolding before our eyes, and Dean Ambrose has the chance to truly become one of the biggest stars WWE has ever had.
Believe that … because I sure do.
