Jon Jones suffered a nasty cut ahead of his showdown with Daniel Cormier at UFC 178, causing many to ask whether he would still be able to defend his light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.
Jones posted videos of the cut being stitched up on his Instagram.

According to his manager, Malki Kawa, Jones will be “fine” after the incident.
He posted another vid to explain the situation and explained that he will be fine.
FYI this is a completely different scar than the one I had in that area previously, they’re not even touching… The four stitches will be out in four days. The wound should be healed within a week. Time for me to start wearing my head gear #adversityisnothing
