In one of the strangest boxing incidents in recent history, world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko was involved in a restaurant brawl with former world champion Shannon Briggs and the entire melee was caught on film.
Klitschko was reportedly eating a bowl of pasta at Mama Mia’s in Miami, when Shannon Briggs rushed in and started accosting him.
After inviting himself to Klitschko’s table, Briggs started eating food from the plate of the longest reigning IBF, WBO & IBO heavyweight champion in history.
It didn’t take too long for the pair to get into a brawl, which is probably what Briggs went there to do.
It certainly appears that this was a ploy by Briggs to get a shot at the title and jump the line. He reportedly broke into one of Wladimir’s training sessions a few weeks ago and it appears he wants revenge against the Klitschko’s after Vitaly beat him in 2010.
