While it has been just over a week since Shannon Briggs stormed into a restaurant where Wladimir Klitschko was eating, ate his food and promised to continue to follow him, the champion’s team is taking extra precautions by adding extra security details as a result of Briggs’ actions.
Due to the escalating nature of Briggs’ behavior, Klitschko’s handlers have added extra security for him while he continues to train for his September 6 bout against Kubrat Pulev, in Hamburg Germany.
“This was 100% real, not staged,” added Briggs about that restaurant brawl.
For his part, Briggs shows no signs of letting up as he continues to threaten the champion. In a recent interview, Briggs made no bones about the fact that he is trying to get a shot at the belt.
