Boxing News: Sergey Kovalev vs. Bernard Hopkins Reportedly Scheduled For November 8

Sergey Kovalev’s adviser says that a clash with Bernard Hopkins will be his client’s toughest opponent to date.

Citing an interview conducting by The Sweet Science with Eglis Klimos, Bad Left Hook is reporting that the fight between Bernard Hopkins and Sergey Kovalev will likely be November 8th, but it could possibly be the previous week (and not later in the month).

As for where the fight will take place, Klimos said that he doesn’t “give a sh!t where Hopkins gets knocked out” but did say in passing that November 8 is an open date at the Barclays Center.

Klimos does admit that Hopkins is the best fighter Kovalev has faced so far, perhaps “a higher grade than all of [his previous opponents] put together.
