Was it all hype?
That’s the question many UFC fans are asking after light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson announced today that he is ready to meet Anthony Johnson after weeks of previously saying he was prepared to sit out three years until he received the next title shot against Jon Jones.
Today on his Facebook page, the Swede said that he had an announcement for Johnson and other UFC fans and directed them to the following message:
Anthony Johnson, there is no one hiding from anyone here. We are both professional fighters and fighting is what we do for living. I know it is frustrating not getting response When you are challenging someone, therefor, I will not turn you down. I will be fully Recovered within a couple of weeks so anytime in January and forward I will be ready to fight you.
Now it is up to the UFC to put this fight together, I can not wait to sign the bout agreement my friend and show you what Battlefield feels like.
