It’s pretty clear TV is just evolving into a playground for live-action comics.
TVLine is reporting that a new series based on DC heroine Supergirl is currently being developed by Warner Bros. Greg Berlanti is apparently the brains behind the project along with Ali Adler. The pair last worked together on No Ordinary Family.
The series is being described as a new take on Supergirl’s origin story. The character was last played by Laura Vandervoort (Bitten) on The CW’s Smallville.
