My Thoughts: WWE RAW 9.15.14 (Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins)

WWE Raw Header - 2014

#1~ There’s definitely something wrong when its a special event when the WWE World Heavyweight Champion shows up for WORK!

#2~ I wonder why Kane is considered “Corporate Kane” now but not when he was in the Corporation stable during the Attitude Era… Is it just the elbow pads and slacks? He’s definitely had a very strange Hall Of Fame career.

#3~ That was a damn good promo from Roman Reigns. You can obviously see the charisma under the “Cool Hand Luke” character he’s playing now. I can’t wait to see him finally break out completely.

#4~ As long as they let them go at it, Cesaro versus Sheamus should be damn stiff. Both guys have been watered down in the WWE main event scene but that doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten how you wrestle overseas. Tons of potential for Sunday but I’m not getting my hopes up too high.

#5~ If you ever wondered what a good “go home” set looks like, just watch the last 4 minutes of The Usos & Sheamus vs Cesaro, Gold & Stardust. That was unbelievably timed out and tremendously excited. Great work by the 6 men in this match.

#6~ That was actually a pretty good segment to sell the main event at Night of Champions. It showed that Lesnar can still be immediately dominant if he doesn’t showboat. And it showed that Cena can contend in the match by exploiting Lesnar’s mistakes. SummerSlam was a match so different from anything we’ve ever seen in a World Heavyweight Championship match I’m interested to see what they come up with Sunday.

#7~ Remember when The Shield debuted and we couldn’t wait for them to break up because they were all great singles’ wrestlers? Well so far so good and its only been a few months! Just wait until they’re all main eventers.

#8~ I’m not taking much time to mention the final segment. It sucked.
