Both the Diaz brothers are back in the UFC.
After Nick Diaz agreed to terms and a match with Anderson Silva, UFC.com is now reporting that Nate Diaz will return after a one-year layoff and fight Rafael dos Anjos in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 13 on December 13.
Diaz (17-9) last fought in the main event of the TUF 18 Finale on Nov. 30 in Las Vegas, where he scored a first-round TKO of Gray Maynard.
After the bout, Diaz decided to stop fighting and publicly stated that he was unhappy with the money he received. The UFC refused to budge on the contract terms, often noting Diaz had lost his previous two fights before the win over Maynard.
MMAFighting.com cites a source close to the Diaz camp when reporting that Diaz will apparently return under the same terms of the previous contract that he walked away from.
