Donald Cerrone Set To Square Off Against Myles Jury

News, Top Story

It appears Donald Cerrone’s next opponent will be the only other fighter in his division who rivals his current win streak.

This week, Myles Jury and the ‘Cowboy’ went at it on Twitter, with Cerrone suggesting that ‘Fury’ rejected a match with him in December. On social media, Dana White got in on the action and confirmed that the match would happen.

White didn’t offer further details but said that the reason for the match is because “Cowboy wants to fight him”.

As mentioned, both lightweights are riding long win streaks. Jury improved his undefeated record to 15-0 by being the first man to knock out Takanori Gomi, while Cerrone recently took out Eddie Alvarez for his 5th straight win in the last year.
