Anderson Silva Says He Will Complete The 8 Fights Left On His UFC Contract Before Considering Retirement

News

At his presser earlier this week, Anderson Silva took questions from the media in Brazil and addressed many lingering issues, including rumours of his impending retirement.

While Silva signed an eight-fight contract with the UFC, many thought that he would try and exit the deal early (especially in light of his recent injuries). It appears, however, that ‘The Spider’ intends on completing the contract.

“Look, I’m going to tell you — I am going to do all of my fights,” he said. “And Dana has already said, before the seven fights are over, so you don’t run away, we’ll renovate your contract. He’s the boss. It’s all good.”
