Once Upon A Time‘s has gone Frozen and things will remain that way for the foreseeable future.
In that regard, the show will soon reveal Rumplestiltskin’s connection to the Snow Queen. TVLine recently visited the show’s set and talked to Robert Carlyle who indicated that Rumple and Elizabeth Mitchell’s character share a past connection.
“A lot of these magical characters, Rumple has either trained or helped in some way. He hasn’t exactly trained her, but he’s helped her along the way,” Carlyle said. “So there’s deep, deep history there, but it’s a really strange relationship. They’re very, very dangerous to each other [and] both slightly afraid of each other, I think.”
In addition, for fans wondering whether we will see Elsa in an outfit that isn’t a blue dress, the short answer is no with speculation being that Disney doesn’t want the appearance of one of their new franchise characters altered.
