John Lineker Responds To Ian McCall; Says He Will Let His Hands Do The Talking

News

After Ian McCall said that he just didn’t like his face, many expected John Lineker to turn up the volume on the war of words.

Instead, Lineker remained reserved when asked about his opponent’s comments.

“I don’t like to talk a lot; I prefer to just show what I can do when in the octagon,” Lineker told MMAjunkie in his native Portuguese. “And I do respect Ian McCall in the same way I respect all of my other opponents, as well, but I do think that he is worried – and he should be.

“Sure, Ian can move and wiggle around the octagon, but at some point, I will catch him.”

Lineker and McCall face-off at next month’s UFC Fight Night 56 event where Shogun vs. Manuwa serves as the main event and which takes place at Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

McCall said that he just doesn’t like Lineker and while it wasn’t that way on his end initially, it appears Lineker now feels the same way.

“I definitely don’t care if he likes me or not,” Lineker said. “I can only say that if Ian doesn’t like me now, he’s probably going to like me even less after this fight.”

“Ian McCall will find out why they call me, ‘Hands of Stone,'” Lineker insisted. “I stop guys. Ian McCall will find out, once you feel my power, you can’t dance around no more.”
