Most Dancing With The Stars fans can agree that it is almost a certainty that Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson will win the Mirror Ball trophy this year… that was until this week.
During Monday’s dress rehearsals, Witney injured her back and was almost unable to perform. She toughed through it but the couple is now paying a heavy price.
I honestly thought that one of my ribs had popped out of place,” Carson told E! Online. “That’s how bad the pain was.”
The pain has only gotten worse as the pro has barely been able to move during this week’s rehearsals for Monday’s Halloween episode.
“My back is really killing me now,” she said.
As if Witney’s back injury wasn’t a big enough problem for the pair, Alfonso is also nursing a groin injury and he told E! News that he was in “a lot of pain.”
Yikes.
