While Lyndsy Fonseca played a badass on Nikita, her latest gig will see her in a different role.
According to Marvel.com, Fonseca is set to play Angie Martinelli on Marvel’s Agent Carter, a wannabe actress who will befriend Hayley Atwell’s title character as both try to find their way in the post-war world.
According to TVLine.com, the plotline is as follows:
Set in 1946, Agent Carter finds Peggy dealt a serious blow, marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), she must postulate between doing administrative busy work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, reprising his Captain America role), all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, after losing her love Steve Rogers.
