With Iris Allen hailing from the 31st century in The Flash comics, it appears The CW series has paid attention and time travel will take place on the show.
TVLine recently caught up with Grant Gustin on set and he confirmed that “time travel will be a part of the show.” Apparently (and like everything on the show), this will be Barry’s fault.
“The first time it happens, I think it’s an accident, and that’s going to be fun to play with,” Gustin said. “I’m looking forward to that.”
In addition, Gustin confirmed that “more characters will be going into the metahuman prison,” that is situated within S.T.A.R. Labs. Gustin suggested that there is a reason all labs aren’t turned into prisons and he confirmed that “there’s a possibility things could go wrong” with Wells’ makeshift Alcatraz.
