While fans have speculated that The Walking Dead will end with Rick Grimes waking up from a coma in the hospital, it can be confirmed that this thankfully won’t be the case.
The popular theory suggests that after Rick was shot, he never woke up from the coma that he was in and that he dreamt up the zombie apocalypse. An Uproxx article on the suggestion prompted the show’s creator Robert Kirkman to publicly refute it.
