Marvel posted up this teaser video for Secret Wars:
So, in the original Secret Wars, the Beyonder takes chunks of a bunch of different worlds and builds one planet called “Battleworld.” It looks like next summer’s Secret Wars will be featuring something similar…but instead of pulling from different worlds, it looks like Battleworld will be made up of different realities.
I have to admit, my first thought when I saw this trailer was “Oh my god, someone needs to design a Diplomacy board like that.”
Marvel still hasn’t connected all the dots for the reader yet, but I definitely am real curious about how this all comes together. Especially with Axis, Time Runs Out, and Spider-Verse. The Marvel universe has been a pretty crazy place the last few months.
