Alias alum Merrin Dungey is coming back to ABC.
The actress has been cast as Ursula, Ariel’s tormentor and long believed to be one of Disney’s best villains. The character will reappear (after initially ‘appearing’ in Season 3 as one of Regina’s tricks to dupe the Little Mermaid) and will work in cahoots with Maleficent and Cruella de Vil. The story arc and cavalcade of witches is expected to debut when the show returns after its Winter Break.
