Universal Pictures has unveiled the first teaser for next summer’s Jurassic World. Taking place twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar is now a fully functional dinosaur theme park, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.
While none of the previous stars return to the series, Jurassic World does offer some colorful personalities in the form of Chris Pratt, fresh off his intergalactic hit that was Guardians of the Galaxy, plus Jake Johnson (TV’s “The New Girl”, Let’s Be Cops), Judy Greer, Vincent D’Onofrio and Ty Simpkins (Tony Stark’s young friend in Iron Man 3).
Steven Spielberg executive produces with Colin Trevorrow (of Safety Not Guaranteed) sitting in the director’s chair.
Jurassic World will be released in 3D by Universal Pictures on June 12, 2015.
