DC Comics Superhero Squad is coming to theatres and now it appears one of the main characters has been cast.
Viola Davis, current star of ABC TV show How To Get Away with Murder is reportedly set to star as major DC Comics villain and Prison Warden Amanda Waller in David Ayer’s upcoming Suicide Squad. In the comics, Waller is a congressional aide and government agent who is put in charge of the Squad.
The Squad itself is former villains who are working on secret projects to redeem themselves.
Already cast in the movie are:
Earlier reports also had Oprah Winfrey and Octavia Spencer up for the role.
