While some people thought 2015 would mark the year that Kurt Angle returns to WWE, the contract that Angle wanted just never materialized. Instead, Angle has re-signed with TNA Impact Wrestling.
Said Angle, “I’m extremely excited to remain with TNA Wrestling … The driving force behind my signing is the honesty, great communication and positive changes being made by Dixie Carter and John Gaburick. Things are moving upward and forward at TNA, and 2015 will be a great one for all of us at IMPACT WRESTLING.”
Impact Wrestling premieres on its new home Destination America with a LIVE show from NYC on Wednesday, January 7th, at 9:00 pm ET. After that, Impact will be moving to Friday nights starting Friday, January 16th and will air from 9-11 pm ET regularly. On Saturdays, Destination America will air IMPACT WRESTLING: UNLOCKED with Mike Tenay from 10 AM-Noon ET, followed by TNA’s GREATEST MATCHES from Noon-1 PM ET.
