What happened to Rollins?
Seth Rollins was scheduled to face John Cena in the main event of the WWE house show in Hidalgo, TX on Sunday January 4, 2015. However, Rollins no-showed the event, and was substituted with Bad News Barrett for the main event. John Cena ended up beating Barrett to send the fans home happy.
However, the absense was not actually Rollins’ fault. His flight was canceled and it was impossible for him to get to the show in time. Rollins apologized saying it was due to issues out of his control and that he was really bummed out missing the show.
He tweeted the following:
Apologies to the fans in Hidalgo, TX tonight. Travel circumstances outside my control caused me to miss the show. Really bums me out.

On Monday Night Raw on January 5, he was added to the World Title main event for Royal Rumble 2015, so clearly he is not being punished in any way for missing the house show slot.
