What was Josh Mathews REALLY mad about?
Former WWE broadcasters Jim Ross and Josh Mathews made headlines earlier this week because of an altercation they had on Twitter. When Ross commented on the ratings of a recent UFC special, Josh Mathews respond rather harshly and unprovoked. He wrote:
Why anyone would say @ufc “won” the night over @nfl is beyond me. Please, stop. It’s not a fair fight. If you are over 60, just go away.

The confrontation would last a little while longer before Mathews realized his mistake and apologized to his former co-worker. After a few days it appears as if there was something deeper underlying this showdown.
Apparently when Mathews signed with TNA there were still offers on the table for JR. Despite the fact that Ross had no interest in signing with TNA, Mathews heard about this through the rumor mill & it obviously rubbed him the wrong way. Mathews never let his feelings show until this random diatribe hit Twitter.
