Ian Ziering just posted his project manager blog from last night’s edition of The Celebrity Apprentice, and used it to take a subtle shot at Kate Gosselin on the other team.

Hi, everyone!

I stepped up as Project Manager this week, not because I’m a big golfer, but because Mr. Trump said the winner was going to win a LOT of money for their charity. As you may know, the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation is the charity I’m fighting for, and if you know anything about what EB is and there’s a beating heart in your chest, you’re gonna want to do something to stop it.

The task was to create an immersive, interactive experience highlighting the Trump International Doral Miami. We were given a 16′ x 16′ platform to build out our ideas and a small budget to cover furniture rentals, set decoration and props. A set design company was at our disposal to construct whatever we needed in addition to what we bought or rented. One of the many things that makes the Trump properties so fantastic is their attention to detail. Because of that I wanted our experience to be heavily detailed, and I also wanted it to be as interactive as possible.

The set design contractors were key in bringing the smaller details to life for me. They recreated the Doral Ballroom window rotunda in perfect scale detail, and I hung it on the wall behind “our” fairway, just as the windows overlook the golf course fairway in Florida. A scale model of the iconic Trump Clock Tower that adorns every Trump property was also made to order. The designers also built out a structure that Leeza was able to dress as an example of the luxury bedrooms found on the property.

Without a golf pro we were at a loss in the interactive department. I called the John Ondrush Golf Academy on Long Island to see if they could offer any help, and they delivered big time! John came to the presentation himself with a golf putt analyzer. Perfect! I called on my friend Pam, who puts together all the parties for the Patron Spirits company. She not only donated product for our cocktails, she also put me in touch with Larry at Abel McCallister Designs. They provided a yellow chaise lounge and matching umbrella – exactly the same as the ones used at the pool of the Trump International Doral Miami. They also made
