After the news of a possible Ant-Man themed Marvel Legends wave, it appears as if a 5th wave of Legends are due out this year. Blizzard was shown at SDCC 2013 and Valkryie at NYCC 2014 (picture below). Thundra seems like an odd choice, as Lyra had been rumored for a while. Dr. Strange, War Machine, & Iron Man Marvel Now (possible Gold & Black) seems like logical choices, with War Machine appearing in Age of Ultron, and they will want some hype for the upcoming Dr. Strange movie. Also, no idea what Hero Number One is. Finally, no word on the possible Build-a-Figure.
Now, just because these showed upon Barnes & Noble’s website, does not mean that they are exclusive to the bookseller, but they have been stepping their game up in the collectibles department the past few years, so it is not out the realm of possibilities. Hopefully we will see more at Toy Fair on February 14th.
