CB’s Slant: 3 Potential Things Triple H Could Announce on WWE Monday Night Raw to Really Shake Things Up on the Road to WrestleMania

Columns, Top Story

On Thursday Night SmackDown this past week, Triple H said that he was going to make an announcement on WWE Monday Night Raw to “fix the controversy” surrounding the results of the 2015 Royal Rumble Match that saw Roman Reigns win, much to the dismay of many fans in Philadelphia and elsewhere. Unless your name is Curtis Axel, the only real controversy was the uninspired and arrogant booking that really missed the mark and ultimately led to Roman Reigns getting booed out of the building.

So here we are, and Triple H says his announcement on Raw will shake things up. It better, because following Raw HHH will be Stone Cold Steve Austin’s guest on another live podcast airing on the WWE Network, and Austin is sure to pull no punches and discuss the Royal Rumble fiasco if things don’t quickly take a turn for the better.

With all of that said, I present to you 3 potential announcements that Triple H could make on Monday Night Raw that could actually shake things up on the Road to WrestleMania XXXI:

1. Because he never got a rematch, Daniel Bryan will be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match at WrestleMania, or at least given the chance (cue Authority shenanigans here, but Daniel Bryan will overcome them and get into the main event once more).

2. Because he never got a rematch, Daniel Bryan will wrestle Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Fast Lane (no shenanigans here as they think Lesnar will simply destroy Bryan without any outside help needed). Bryan then shocks everyone and beats Lesnar, becomes the Champ and defends it at WrestleMania.

3. At Fast Lane, Roman Reigns will put his #1 Contendership on the line against the winner of a tournament that will take place on Raw and SmackDown leading up to the PPV. The winner of said tournament could/should be Bryan, Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose. Whoever Reigns faces wins the match, and if it’s Bryan or Ambrose, he SNAPS and turns heel. If it’s Rollins, he SNAPS and stays a baby face. The point would be to turn Reigns back into a badass instead of poorly scripted cartoon character, which would be a change that is sorely needed right now before it’s too late.

WHAT DO YOU THINK of the above possibilities and what would you like to see happen with Triple H’s announcement on Raw? Sound off in the Comments section below!
