Scarlet-Overkill-and-the-Minions

After celebrating too much during the Super Bowl, the minions have sobered up enough to be part of a new Minions trailer. Not only do we get some more of Sandra Bullock as the super villain Scarlet Overkill, we also see how hard it is for a minion to get gainful employment.

This time the trio of Kevin, Stuart and Bob hitchhike to Orlando to attend Villain-Con, the biggest gathering of criminals anywhere, which is great since these three little yellow guys are in need of a new commander.

The story of Minions begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. After accidentally killing off so many of them—from T. rex to Napoleon—the Minions find themselves without a master to serve and fall into a deep depression. But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he—alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob—ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

Minions is co-directed by Kyle Balda (The Lorax) and Pierre Coffin (Despicable Me 1 & 2). In addition to Bullock, the vocal talent includes Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton and Allison Janney.

I think this will be one of the big hits of the summer, if the two previous Despicable Me movies are any indication. Guess we’ll find out when Minions opens July 10th, 2015.

Travis Leamons is one of the Inside Pulse Originals and currently holds the position of Managing Editor at Inside Pulse Movies. He's told that the position is his until he's dead or if "The Boss" can find somebody better. I expect the best and I give the best. Here's the beer. Here's the entertainment. Now have fun. That's an order!
