Marvel Entertainment and Netflix have released the first trailer for Daredevil. After regaining the rights from 20th Century Fox, Marvel has refashioned the story about “The Man Without Fear” into a 13-episode season that is executive produced by Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus”), Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods).
All 13 episodes will be made available globally upon release in all territories where Netflix is available on April 10, 2015.
The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsely aka The Owl), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Scott Glenn, and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin).
Marvel’s Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
