Brock Lesnar News: WWE Raw Walkout, Update on Contract, Remaining Appearances

News

What’s going on with the Beast?

Despite being advertised to appear, Brock Lesnar was not a part of Monday Night Raw this week in the post-Fast Lane show.

Apparently Brock was in the building in Nashville, and was being promoted on the WWE website and Twitter as soon as 20 minutes before Raw began. However, Lesnar left the show early.

Brock had a business meeting with Vince McMahon, and there was a disagreement of some sort that angered Brock. The situation is reportedly related to negotiations regarding Lesnar signing a new contract. The issue stemmed the offer and terms of the contract, and had nothing to do with a rumored UFC fight while under WWE contract.

The two sides are said to be at an impasse, with neither side looking to back down.

While the exact terms of the disagreement are not yet known, it’s said to be strictly business related and has nothing to do with a proposed creative direction. Lesnar is not known to be picky with creative at this point anyway.

Brock is not scheduled to be at Raw next week, but was never booked on the 3/2 Raw in Newark, NJ.

Dates remaining:

  • 3/9 Raw in Pittsburgh
  • 3/23 Raw in Los Angeles
  • WrestleMania
  • Raw the day after WrestleMania in San Jose

Lesnar is expected to make the rest of the dates or else risk a breach of contract.

This is an interesting situation to watch play out to say the least.
