Falls Count Anywhere: My WWE WrestleMania 31(Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose)

Now that Fast Lane is out of the way, we have a clearer picture of where the WWE is going with WrestleMania. Sting will get his WrestleMania moment at the expense of HHH. The Dead Man appears to be just mostly dead, but not all dead. And the main event is set, and I, for one, am surprised that Roman Reigns is headlining WrestleMania after the Royal Fumble. But I digress. That still leaves a lot of unanswered questions a month away from the grand daddy of them all. So now that <a href=”https://insidepulse.com/2015/02/05/falls-count-anywhere-the-champ-is/”>my odds</a> for the main event are shot, I will try something different, and I will tell you what I want for WrestleMania. This is not a prediction(we will get to that in a couple of weeks), this is just how I would like to see WrestleMania play out.

Pre-Show Match-WWE Tag Team Championship

The Ascension v Tyson Kidd/Cesaro(champs)

I don’t really think the Ascension are ready for the Tag titles yet, but this being WrestleMania, I feel that all the titles should be on the line. I think the Ascension will eventually win the titles, just not here.

Winners and Still Tag Team Champions-Kidd/Cesaro

Match 1-NXT Championship Match

Sami Zayn v Kevin Owens(champ)

I would love to see Zayn get a rematch with Owens before Finn Balor gets his title shot at the next NXT live special. Having that rematch kick off WrestleMania would be a great way to get the crowd into the show. It would also be a great way to promote NXT. There will be a lot of new Network subscribers that only signed up for WrestleMania that might be more inclined to keep the Network if they get a taste of the best NXT has to offer. Give these guys 10 minutes and let them tear the house down. The result of the match is not as important as the performance, but obviously, Owens retains.

Winner and Still NXT Champion-Kevin Owens

Match 2-Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

The key players in this match would be Gold Dust, Star Dust, Big Show, Kane, and Sheamus. The Rhodes brothers have to settle for this being their WrestleMania moment after the clusterf*ck their match was at Fast Lane. There is no way those guys should get a singles match at Mania. Show, Kane, and Sheamus are the final 3, with Sheamus getting the win in very impressive fashion.

Winner-Sheamus

Match 3

Miz v Mizdow

This would be a very quick match, with Mizdow getting the win and finally breaking away from the Miz permanently. In a perfect world, the Miz goes away forever, but maybe he could stick around as a jobber or something.

Winner-Damien Sandow

Match 4-Fatal 4 Way for the Intercontinental Championship

Bad News Barrett(chanp) v Dean Ambrose v Dolf Ziggler v Daniel Bryan

The WWE alluded to a possible Fatal 4 Way for the IC title this past Monday on Raw. I like that idea, but I would replace R-Truth with Daniel Bryan. Bryan has nowhere to go right now. The last thing I want to see is another match with Sheamus and I think he deserves better than the Battle Royal. Besides, these 4 could have one hell of a match. This could lead to a singles feud for DB and Ziggler in the future, which is something I would love to see. For this match, Ambrose needs to win to get some momentum going.

Winner and New IC Champion-Dean Ambrose

Match 5

Sting v HHH

I may be in the minority here, but I think HHH has to win this match, especially with the WWE v WCW angle they are going with. Sting should look strong throughout the match, but in the end HHH will win with plenty of help from the Authority.

Winner-HHH

Match 6-United States Championship Match

John Cena v Rusev(champ)

This is exactly how the WWE should use John Cena at this point in his career. He can vanquish the dastardly villain and restore prominence to the United States Championship. And if he has the US Title, he can’t be anywhere near the main event and the Heavyweight Championship.

Winner and New US Champion-John Cena

Match 7

Randy Orton v Seth Rollins

All signs are still pointing to Orton turning on the Authority once and for all. He will be looking for revenge against Rollins for the curb stomp that knocked him out of action for 4 months. Orton dominates until the Authority gets involved. Sheamus heads to the ring, seemingly to help Orton, but he is revealed to be the Authority’s newest member(It could be revealed on Raw the next night that Sheamus winning the Battle Royal impressed the Authority, and they made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.) . He destroys Orton and allows Rollins to get the win.

Winner-Seth Rollins

Match 8

Bray Wyatt v Undertaker

This should be 20 minutes of Bray Wyatt beating the ever-loving sh*t out of Taker. Taker could hit a couple of his classic moves here and there, but in the end, there is a new evil in the WWE, and it is Bray Wyatt. At this point in Taker’s career, his mission should be getting young guys over.

Winner-Bray Wyatt

Match 9-WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Brock Lesnar(champ) v Roman Reigns

A good, stiff match. Reigns gives Brock all he can handle ,but in the end the Beast retains.

Winner and Still WWE World Heavyweight Champion-Brock Lesnar

But here comes the Authority. They beat down Brock and Reigns. Then Seth Rollins’ music hits and he cashes in Money in the Bank. After Lesnar kicks out of 2 Curb Stomps, the 3rd does the trick.

Winner and New WWE World Heavyweight Champion-Seth Rollins

This result gets the belt off of Brock in case he and the WWE can’t agree on a new contract. If they do work out a new deal, Seth Rollins has one angry Beast to contend with.

So, what do you think? I know this could never happen, but I can dream, can’t I?
