What’s up with Joe?
Samoa Joe left TNA after nearly a decade with the company, and has signed on in the short-term to work some dates with Ring of Honor in March.
March Date Summary:
- March 7, 2015 in Baltimore (a TV taping that also includes A.J. Styles and The Young Bucks)
- March 13, 2015 in Milwaukee
- March 14, 2015 in Chicago
- March 27, 2015 in Redwood City, CA (WrestleMania weekend)
The deal with ROH also extends into April
- April 4, 2015 in San Antonio
- April 25, 2015 in Hopkins (near Minneapolis), MN.
It’s possible he will be introduced in some way on the 3/1 PPV in Las Vegas, but that is not yet confirmed.
Joe has also been approached by a variety of other promotions. Lucha Underground, AAA and New Japan have all expressed interest.
There are also apparently “active talks” with WWE, which is a key reason Joe is not making any long-term plans just yet.
