Per Degaton and Monarch are both villainous time travelers in DC Comics lore. They popped in DC Comics’ Convergence #3 (full spoilers here) and are expected to be seen in Convergence #4, in the preview too, as well as Convergence: Booster Gold #1 and #2 with all of the multiverse’s other displaces time travelers. Below are some of the panels with Per Degaton and Monarch for last week’s Convergence.

Per Degaton has a history of tangling with the Justice Society of America, All Start Squadron and Infinity Inc. More recently Per Degaton allied with other villainous time travelers to for the Time Stealers and they tangled with Booster Gold, Rip Hunter and the Time Masters.

While Monarch was most associated with the Armageddon 2001 event and is a hero turned villain; that’s a bit controversial and explained the last image on the right attached below.
