Dana White Says He ‘Doesn’t Give A S***’ About Montreal Fans Leaving During UFC 186 Main Event

While MMA fans have always been known to have an opinion, it’s clear that their lack of respect for Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson is somewhat concerning.

During last night’s UFC 186 main event, Montreal fans began filing out of the Bell Centre even before the championship match even started. Fans missed seeing Johnson lock on one of the most impressive armbar submissions of the year to finish off the match and retain his title for the sixth straight time.

At the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White offered his thoughts on the lack of respect fans had for the 125-pound division.

“I don’t give a sh*t what people are doing,” White stated at the post-fight press conference. “I’m watching the fight.”

White continued by saying that the champion’s resume alone is reason enough to stick around for his matches.

“It’s kind of sad that Demetrious Johnson has this thing hanging over his head, he’s not this, he’s not that,” White said. … “He does everything the exact way he’s supposed to. He comes in with a game plan and follows it to the letter. He’s just one of these guys that has to put his head down, keep doing his thing and you have to respect him.”
