Convergence Week Six begins today and that means that DC Comics’ Convergence #6 will be available too!
The issue has the Multiversity’s Super Judge Monitor and Darkseid take notice of the machinations of Telos and Deimos, at Brainiac’s expense.
To get you caught up to Convergence #6, below are the reveals from the lead-in issues of the core Convergence event series thus far in this eight week event:
- Convergence #0 spoilers here.
- Convergence #1 spoilers here.
- Convergence #2 spoilers here.
- Convergence #3 spoilers here.
- Convergence #4 spoilers here.
- Convergence #5 spoilers here.
On top of that, some niche characters from DC Comics’ extensive library have emerged during Convergence. To help you with their origins pre-New 52, their Who’s Who are below:
- Deimos, Warlord and Skartaris.
- Shakira.
- Per Degaton and Monarch.
- The other trapped time travelers.
- Tara, Machiste and… Waverider, but only 1 time traveler remains to be identified.
With that out of the way, and you all caught up, our Convergence #6 spoilers and review follow.
It is unfortunate that the only glimpses we had of Earth 0’s Justice League and the multiverse constants of Darkseid and The Multiversity’s Monitor were in the preview to this issue. However, Convergence #6 goes beyond being an Earth 2 Justice Society and Skartaris heroes / villains adventure to many of the unbottled cities denizens coming to play a part on the core story.
The book opens with the reader getting a sense of Deimos true plan. He has no intention, it seems, of living up to his offer to all the worlds / cities.
Looks like he will kill everyone anyone and recreate, reboot, relaunch a new universe.
The pre-New 52 Superman states the big game changing fact and has the Earth 2 Society round up those who will stand with them against Deimos.
And, this Superman – the pre-New 52 and now father Superman – tells the Earth 2 Dick Grayson why is the most important hero on the planet to Telos…. he can reason with the being Telos.
Telos will help Earth 2’s Dick Grayson, soon to be its Batman, to save the beings of Telos (he’s a living planet, remember).
The book sends Deimos heroes (some surprising ones) against Earth 2 Society and pre-New 52 Superman’s heroes confronting one another. A battle ensues!
Thanks for reading. All feedback welcome.
