Sarah Hanlon is the Big Brother Canada 3 winner.
The hemployee from Toronto was awarded the $100,000 grand prize on last night’s season finale and in a season that will be best be remembered for all of its twists, Sarah managed to survive them all and succeeds Jillian MacLaughlin and Jon Pardy as the show’s newest champion.
In an unexpected twist, Sarah was taken to the end by Godfrey, after the psychology student won the Final HOH competition of the season. While many fans thought that Godfrey would have a better shot against Ashleigh in front of the jury, it’s clear that Sarah’s last-minute campaigning worked and resulted in her taking home the title.
I caught up with Sarah immediately after she was announced as the winner where I asked if she thought she deserved the win after Canada’s twist allowed Ashleigh’s nominations to be replaced with Brittnee’s. We also discussed the role that twists on the show in general and Sarah tells me the vote where she felt like the game turned in her favour. I also asked her about her relationship with Willow MacDonald and she offers a can’t-miss answer.
