Murtz On The Scene: Big Brother Canada 3 – Day After Season Finale Interview With Brittnee Blair

Features, Interviews, Top Story, Video

The day after Sarah Hanlon was named the winner of Big Brother Canada 3, I headed to the backyard to do extended interviews with the entire cast. I caught up with ‘Queen B,’ Brittnee Blair to discuss her time in the house. I asked Brittnee if she had any idea about how loved she was by fans of the show and we also discussed why she was so dominant at so many of the competitions this season. I asked Brittnee if she was athletic as a child or if she just managed to find an inner strength when she needed to win the most. I asked Brittnee about the twists that seemed to really help her and Sarah during the course of the season (as a twist not only resulted Sindy’s return, but also allowed Brittnee to replace Ashleigh’s nominations in a makeshift coup d’etat). Brittnee opened up about how Sarah’s social abilities complemented her competition skills as the two teamed up to basically takeover the season. I asked Brittnee if she thought that Sarah benefitted from Brittnee’s comp wins without actually having to get her own hands dirty and how the game would have changed if Naeha had returned instead of Sindy. I asked Brittnee if she felt like the game of Big Brother Canada has changed and if she feels that if a houseguest wants to be successful in the Big Brother house, that they need to not only win competitions and win over the other houseguests but now also must play up to Canada and the cameras as well (to be on the right side of any potential twists that include a public vote). I asked Brittnee to describe the range of emotions she felt after finding out that she and Sarah were Have-Nots (as voted by Canada) only to discover that they were actually the most popular people in the house and that Canada was actually giving them access to a secret power. Brittnee also talked about being placed on the block so many times and how tough it was for her fate in the game to be basically be in jeopardy in any week that she didn’t win HOH. Brittee told me how she would like Canada to remember her and also rejected the idea of a potential romance with Godfrey now that the show has come to an end. Check out the video above!
