John Cena is one of the top followed celebrities on social media, but that doesn’t mean he is immune from criticism.
WWE offficials have apparently told Cena to make his Instagram account more in line with his character.
Cena’s instagram is a totally non-wrestling feed of random images that are posted without context. While he has over 7 million followers on Twitter, he also has over 1 million Instagram followers.
WWE officials want those followers to be more engaged on WWE matters and WWE related character enhancements.
Cena commented:
I have been encouraged to evolve @instagram into something less….abstract, thoughts? Ahh let the 140 character comedy begin
