Here’s a recap of everything important that went down in the Big Brother House from 8:00 AM BBT on August 17th, all the way through 8:00 AM August 18th.

Houseguests get up for the day, and are told the veto ceremony will begin shortly.
Liz had decided not to use the Power of Veto. Either Becky or John will be evicted.
Austin and Liz discuss Becky’s plea speech, where apparently she said she was coming after them if the veto wasn’t used.
Vanessa tells Austin that they have to target John next, so if one of the two come back they can’t work with the other.
Austwins discuss next week, Austin and Liz want to go after Vanessa, while Julia doesn’t think she could do that.
Austin has a conversation with Steve. He says that he is great and they can trust each other, and no one will ever see it coming. He says that he doesn’t care if Liz and Julia take him to Final 3, because they won’t take him to Final 2, and that he wouldn’t take them to the end. Makes Final 2 deal.
Houseguests have a cooking competition for four hours.
