Carolina Panthers’ Kelvin Benjamin Tears ACL

News

As reported by NFL.com moments ago, Carolina Panthers’ star receiver Kelvin Benjamin tore his ACL earlier today and will require surgery.

The 2nd year wide receiver will, in fact, miss the entire season after Coach Ron Rivera originally believed the injury was simply a sprained left knee.

This is a huge concern for the Panthers as they have a limited number of targets for Cam Newton to throw to. Benjamin had an incredibly successful rookie season last year and had high hopes to continue that productivity for the team. Hopefully Greg Olsen is ready to catch a lot of passes.
