Here’s a recap of everything important that went down in the Big Brother House from 8:00 PM BBT on August 23rd, all the way through 8:00 PM August 24th.
WARNING: Spoilers below (duh).
As night falls on Sunday night in the Big Brother house, Liz and Austin are preparing for their first date. Liz is worried that Austin is going to ask her to be his girlfriend, and she doesn’t feel comfortable with him having a girl back at home. Julia and Liz agree that Austin needs to deal with the girl back home before asking her to be his GF.
Overt the weekend, Vanessa attempted to mastermind a plan to get Meg out. Meg confronts Vanessa, and Vanessa says that she heard that she was her target for the double eviction. Meg says that’s not true, and that she would have put up Steve and John.
Austin and Liz have their date. Austin indeeds ask Liz to be his girlfriend, and she asks about the girlfriend back at home. Austin says if he could deal with her first he would, but they’re in a unique scenario and spending a lot of time together and need to make it official. Liz agrees to be his girlfriend.
Austin tells Liz and Julia that Steve or John must go, and that he’s leaning towards Steve.
Vanessa tries once again to convince Austin to go after Meg or James, but says she’ll go with Austin’s decision.
James tells Austin whoever comes back must immediately go back out, even if it’s Jackie.
Austin tells Vanessa he wants the nominations to stay the same, and that Steve is a really smart player.
Steve tells John that Vanessa isn’t going to use the veto, and John says he’ll try and convince her.
John tells Vanessa about the alliance he and Steve made with the Austwins to get her out. Vanessa goes and asks Liz, and Liz says that Steve just came in and started talking and they all nodded.
Vanessa confronts Steve, and Steve says he wasn’t solely responsible, but starts getting really scared. Vanessa asks Austin, and Austin blames Steve. Vanessa starts running around the house proclaiming she’s voting out Steve this week.
Vanessa has decided not to use the Power of Veto. Either Steve or John will be evicted.
Liz confronts John about spoiling the alliance, and John says that they were clearly after him and he had no other choice.
