Yup, Michael Vick has found a team as the Steelers find themselves in need of a quarterback after backup QB Bruce Gradkowski was injured during a preseason game this weekend and will be out for the remainder of the season.
NFL.com did report that Steeler’s QB Ben Roethlisberger did support the decision to sign Vick as long as he helps the team.
No word yet from Head Coach Mike Tomlin if the team will develop a specific package to utilize Vick specifically. It was reported multiple times that Vick still seemed incredibly confident that he could still be a starting QB in the NFL. I’m not sure if Steeler fans are willing to see if that’s true or not.
