Big Brother 17 Episode 28 just wrapped up! Here’s a recap of everything that went down, and what we think you should expect to come:
The episode started off following the nomination ceremony. Austin has just nominated Steve and John for eviction, and Steve is upset that Austin went back on his promise of not nominating him next go John, and is in awe of how great a player Vanessa must be.
John tells Steve that he thinks he’s the target, and Steve tells him he’s too amazed with Vanessa to be upset. John says if they win they won’t use the veto, and Steve says all that means is that they need to win.
Vanessa thanks the Austwins for not nominating her, and Austin tells her it just wouldn’t have been a good idea to go after her, while telling us that he’s just saying what he needs to say to make her feel safe. Steve comes in and they assure him safety and say the target is John. Once Vanessa leaves the room, Austin tells him if the veto is used Vanessa is the backup plan.
Austin, Steve, John, Vanessa, Meg, and Julia are all selected to participate in the Power of Veto competition.
Liz tells Austin that they need to make a decision and decide a target. She also says that Vanessa is out of the loop, and they need to go after John. Liz is upset Austin still doesn’t know a target.
The Zingbot does some zinging, Liz gets pretty pissed off after a joke about Austin’s girlfriend.
Vanessa wins the Power of Veto.
Vanessa asks John if he’s over all of his people leaving, and he says of course and that he’s alone. John says that they have been enemies, and Vanesa says that they’re being stupid and should work with each other. Vanessa says she would love to use the veto, but has to get Austin on board.
Vanessa tells Austin that John’s back is against the wall, and they should go after Meg and James, specifically Meg. Austin tells us that he just got in good with James and Meg, and he’d be an idiot to do that. He tells Vanessa not to use it.
Vanessa tells John that Austin said she shouldn’t use it, and she can’t do it alone, and it would be too risky. John decides to tell her about the five person alliance to get her out.
Vanessa asks Julia about the alliance, and at first she says it’s a lie, but then admits to it’s existence but says it was just Steve yammering, causing Vanessa to question Steve’s loyalty through the game.
Vanessa confronts Steve, and asks him if it was his idea, he says no, but gets flustered when she asks who it was. Vanessa calls him a liar, and that he’s lost her vote.
Vanessa has decided not to use the Power of Veto. Either Steve or John will be evicted.
