On a weekend where we had artist Frank Cho step into another Secret Wars 2015 and NSFW image controversy, we have more All-New All-Different Marvel Comics news.
Marvel Comics has publicly revealed officially announced 45 of their 55 to 60 (Marvel Editor in Chief [EIC] Axel Alonso won’t pin down the total number of ANAD Marvel series) new All-New All-Different Marvel Series launching between October 2015 and February 2016.
Parallel to Marvel’s San Diego Comic Con International (SDCC) 2015 public ANAD Marvel series announcements, Marvel shared 15 more new titles to be part of the All-New All-Different Marvel Comics initiative. However, Marvel only announced the title names to retailers sans creative teams.
Since then the full ANAD Marvel line-up have been officially rolling with creative teams on top of the initial 45 announced. That started with the confirmation of 4 new series bringing the ANAD Marvel ongoing series count to 49. And now, we have 3 more – 1 of which was unexpected – bringing us to 52 of at least 59 as of December 2015!
All of these new series take place after the finale of Secret Wars 2015’s event mini-series. It was supposed to be end with Secret Wars #8, but Marvel has extended it by one issue to Secret Wars #9 which ships in December 2015! This issue will take place two months AFTER the launch of ANAD Marvel which actually takes place after the end of Secret Wars #9. Ok, you follow?
All-New All-Different Marvel Comics Spoilers follow.
We get new 2 new ongoing series and their creative teams follow:
- Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur written by Amy Reeder and Brandon Montclare with art by Natacha Bustos.
- All-New Inhumans written by Charles Soule and James Asmus with art by artist Stefano Caselli.
- Guardians of Infinity written by Dan Abnett with art by Carlo Barberi.
Looks like there’s at least 7 more ongoing series to be announced in the post-Secret Wars #9 All-New All-Different Marvel Comics publishing line.
