Blu-Ray Review – Sleepy Hollow (Season 2)

Blu-ray Reviews, Reviews, Top Story, TV Shows

There’s a phrase that describes Sleepy Hollow that seems insulting at first but really is a compliment in a lot of ways: perfectly acceptable entertainment. Because that’s what this show really is; something you can half watch while doing something else on a weekday night.

The show has a fairly simple premise. Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) has woken up in modern times. He’s partnered up with a detective (Nicole Beharie). Together they tackle mysteries steeped in historical lore, among other things, as Crane has to deal with living in modern times and his partner plays the straight woman to his wacky historical insights.

The second season is more of the same from the first; it isn’t going to challenge you on any meaningful level but its good for what it is. THis is disposable network television at its finest.

The usual EPK pieces but nothing outstanding.
