Complete WWE Thursday Night Smackdown Taping Results for 09/24/2015 [Spoilers]

Spoilers

What’s up for Smackdown this week?

Here are the results taped for Smackdown on September 22, 2015 to air on September 24, 2015:

Dot Net reader Ernest DLG is at the WWE Smackdown taping in Corpus Christi, Texas and is sending the following report. Refresh the page for his latest updates.

Kane came out to announce Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper. Seth Rollins interrupted Kane, who announced Dean Ambrose vs. Rollins as the main event…

1. Roman Reigns beat Luke Harper. Reigns entered to a solid pop and got the win…

2. New Day beat Neville and The Lucha Dragons in a six-man tag match. New Day say they will face the Dudley Boyz at MSG, then started a save the tables chant. There was a cool high risk moves by the Dragons and Neville, but shortly after New Day picked up the win…

3. Cesaro over Bo Dallas. Cesaro entered to a decent pop (but good lord that entrance music is and always will be horrible). Cesaro won with a nice looking roll up. Cesaro went out to the crowd to hold up a lit up Cesaro Section sign…

They showed clips of Charlotte’s victory on Monday night. Next up was showing Charlotte’s championship moment with Paige dropping her pipe bomb…

Charlotte and Becky made their entrance. Paige came to ring to talk trash to both of them as Natalya made her way to the ring. Paige called Natalya a crazy cat lady. Ha! Natalya talked up both Charlotte and Becky. Paige slapped Natalya and then left to end the segment…

4. Ryback and Dolph Ziggler beat Kevin Owens and Rusev (w/Summer Rae). A loud we want Lana chant started. The crowd was into the match with the high spots and the chants. Best match of the night so far. A Rusev kick laid out Ryback. Owens took off and Rusev was upset, soon after Ryback gave Rusev Shellshocked for the win…

The Dudley Boyz had a backstage segment and again reiterated that they would face New Day for the tag titles at MSG. The Prime Time Players wished them luck…

JoJo spoke with Seth Rollins about Ambrose. Rollins spoke badly about Kane, but Kane was behind him. Rollins also spoke about destroying Ambrose…

5. Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins in a non-title match. Ambrose entered to the pop of the night (or at least tied with Reigns). A Kane pyro distraction led to Ambrose winning. A pretty good match. I hope the WWE realizes that most of us long time or diehard fans in Corpus saw this match when they were here last time for Elimination Chamber where they teased Ambrose winning the title only to be done by the ol’ Dusty Finish.

Overall, a decent Smackdown. Nothing special and still no mention of the Sting match on Sunday. Pops of the night have to go to Reigns and Ambrose and Booker T (I know, but it is Texas and we’re close to his native Houston). The most heat is more difficult then ever in my 20 plus years of coming to wrestling events. The crowd chanted for New Day, and Rollins and Owens were a mixed bag. If you put a gun to my head I would say Harper or Owens. The security is more on it with us then ever. It is insane to see them with more arena security and being more strict. They got on us for standing up or even yelling.
