WWE had it’s first Monday Night Raw of October live from Boston, and the show began the push towards Hell in a Cell 2015, in less than 3 weeks.
The show opened with Brock Lesnar, accompanied by Paul Heyman, who got a huge pop. Heyman cut a great promo until the Big Show came down. Show ran down Lesnar until Lesnar came back and attacked him.
Kane and Seth Rollins were still tagging together despite Rollins have broken Kane’s ankle on Raw last week. Stephanie decided it to be so. She also later shut down the New Day.
In a notable mid-show segment, John Cena and Roman Reigns stood in the ring with cancer survivors and dared the Boston crowd to boo them, but the crowd cheered.
The Divas Revolution continued with Paige vs. Natalya, surprisingly seeing Paige tap out, and a six person tag between Team Bella and Team B.A.D.
The show-closing storyline revolved around John Cena’s open challenge for the US Title. Dolph Ziggler appeared to be the challenger, but the New Day laid him out offcamera and took his spot. After Cena pinned Big E clean in the middle, a post-match schmozz involving Dolph and the Dudleyz ended the show.
