Hell in a Cell
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

Pat Metalhead: The most hyped match on the card, but it also fails to generate much interest. And rightfully so, I’ve said this before, this is not the answer to WWE’s current woe’s, on the contrary. Anyway, I hear Vince has “something big” planned for this one. Something big would, in this case, be someone intervening, costing Lesnar the victory so that: 1. The Undertaker can emerge victorious from the feud without diminishing Lesnar’s invincible aura and 2. Lesnar can have a WrestleMania match with whomever intervenes. The Rock is rumored to be that guy, but that is only rumor. Whatever the case, I can’t wait… for all of those I just mentioned to finally retire.
Winner: The Undertaker

Spain: This one, I have to believe is going to involve a look at the future. In which case, Brock has to go over. Then again, the WWE really does have a tendency to go all sentimental at the worst possible moment, and boy do they love a good redemption story. The best thing that you can say about this one, other than I’ll have a chance to indulge in my ‘old person gets beaten to death’ fetish, is that it genuinely doesn’t matter who wins: it’s a bit bigger than that.
Winner: The Undertaker

JT – Time to hang up the boots, old man. Taker gets thrown around like an elderly rag doll, mounts a brief, implausible comeback and gets eaten by the beast.
Winner: Lesnar

Sam P – Another brutal brawl, no doubt, but Lesnar to decimate this time round.
Winner: Brock Lesnar

Widro – It’s hard for me to believe that the Undertaker will win again after the tainted match at Summerslam.
Winner: Lesnar

Hell in a Cell
Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt Hell in a Cell match

Pat Metalhead: Their feud certainly had their ups and downs, and I can’t sy it was my favorite thing on the show, but at least it involves two guys that are there full time so there is that. I’m actually more interested in this HiaC match than the so-called “Final Chapter”. WWE is still big on Reigns so I’m guessing he will take this one.
Winner: Roman Reings

Spain: I think there’s little doubt that what we’ve been seeing recently has been the steady rise of Roman Reigns, and with that in mind, unless the WWE goes off the fucking rails this Sunday, we’re going to see him finally and emphatically take down his old nemesis Bray Wyatt.
Winner: Roman Reigns

JT – WWE’s chosen one vs a solid worker who really needs a character refresh. On the upside, we haven’t seen this match too many times, so at least it’s sorta fresh. Fingers crossed the match won’t be marred by interference from giant steroid baby.
Winner: Reigns

Sam P – This could be a barnstormer. These two know each other so well and will proceed to cause carnage, though we’re sure to get involvement from the Wyatt Family one way or another. It’d be awesome if the Wyatt’s ripped down the cell to help their leader take out Reigns. Sadly I’m not on the creative team. Which is a loss for all of us. Reigns to power through, because he’s a Samoan superhero.
Winner: Roman Reigns

Widro – The Shield/Wyatts feud has been going on for years, and this is another match. Despite the cage/cell format, I expect the rest of the Wyatts to get involved. I think Bray should win and begin Roman’s true hell turn but instead Roman will likely get a top push with Cena out.
Winner: Roman

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Kane

Pat Metalhead: Sighs…
Winner: Seth Rollins

Spain: I tossed to a bone to one Brother of Destruction, and you’ll excuse me if I don’t treat the other with the same charity. Kane, whilst having done absolutely sterling character and comedy work these past few weeks (and I mean rivalling the New Day in terms of both of those things), cannot hold the title. His years left in action are uncertain; the quality of his matches are much the same. Between the two men, only one of them can be World Champion.
Winner (and still WWE World Heavyweight Champion): Seth Rollins

JT – Corporate Kane has been pretty funny lately, and they’re been trying to build up masked Kane as the monster he was ten years ago, but once again we’ve got an old man taking on one of the best in the company.
Winner: Rollins

Sam P – What a mess. I can’t even be bothered to write down why. Seth retains and we can all move on from this sorry situation.
Winner: Seth Rollins

Widro – It’s difficult to imagine Kane as WHC in 2015.
Winner: Rollins

WWE Divas Championship
Charlotte (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Pat Metalhead: Well, i don’t mind the rematch too much, since its logical so the biggest question here is how good it will be. If they (Nikki) don’t try anything they cannot actually pull off, it should be watchable at least. Let’s hope that after this one, WWE starts the real Diva Revolution and that would be bringing what has worked so well in NXT to a bigger stage. As for the result, I can’t come up with any good reason for Charlotte to lose so…
Winner: Charlotte

Spain: Pretty simple case, really. Charlotte’s won the belt, and now she needs to secure that reign with a second win. Expect a decent match and an advertisement for what’s to come when Flair the Second gets some really talented opponents.
Winner (and still WWE Divas Champion): Charlotte

JT – Charlotte holds onto the belt until Becky Lynch,Sasha Banks or Asuka are ready to take her on.
Winner: Charlotte

Sam P – There’s still a degree of nonchalance with the booking of the Divas on the main roster, and there really shouldn’t be. The quality of the female talent is at an all time high and there are so many intriguing match ups to be had. A full blown Paige heel turn on Charlotte here would be great. It would set up a Charlotte / Paige programme and Nikki as champ could move on to face Becky Lynch or Sasha Banks. Alas, I worry it’ll remain a little stale.
Winner: Charlotte

Widro – While the Diva’s Revolution has hit a snag, it is still too early to do another title change.
Winner: Charlottte

WWE Tag Team Championship
The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley)

Pat Metalhead: I will admit I’m actually interested by this one. Their feud has been much more entertaining than I originally expected for the simple reason everyone has played their role well. While I have said before that the Dudley Boyz don’t really need another title reign, I wouldn’t mind if it happened here. The New Day will be as entertaining in the title chase than as Champions while a Dudley’s win would certainly be a crowd pleaser. So, Why not?
Winner: The Dudley Boyz

Spain: Honestly? Hardest one for me to call right here. On the one hand, the New Day are doing an amazing job as champions, and the Dudley Boyz have no reason to hold the belts beyond nostalgia and feel-goodisms. On the other, you don’t give multiple opportunities at the belts to a team if there’s nothing that’s going to come of it. Tricky choice. Difficult. Mhm.
Winner (and still WWE Tag Team Champions): New Day Rocks

JT – I don’t know if Xavier Woods is legit injured, but Big E and Kofi should put on a fun match against the Dudleys, and unless Vince is on an old timer kick, the heels should get over clean.
Winners: New Day

Sam P – The New Day are a revelation to WWE. They’re all over programming at the moment, and rightfully so. They’re a refreshing presence – entertaining, engaging, loose on the microphone and in the ring. You’d assume Bubba and D-Von have another title run in their tanks to make it a glorious 10. If only there was a PPV coming up in the near future that could include their signature weapon in a stipulation… Oh wait…
Winners: The New Day

Widro – The New Day have been favorites of WWE creative in recent weeks, filling tons of segments on TV. I think a loss here could lead to more entertaining segments on their quest to regain the titles.
Winner: Dudley Boyz

20151005_HIAC_EP_LIGHT_R_OwensRyback_HP
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ryback

Pat Metalhead: This is a no-brainer, Kevin Owens is one of the best things they have going currently and Ryback as IC Champion would achieve nothing. Let Owens continue to be Owens, keep the title on him until WrestleMania and find someone worthy to take it away from him then.
Winner: Kevin Owens

Spain: Kevin Owens needs more time with the belt, and he’s one of the few people I really think could elevate the damn thing. Which is almost a shame, because I genuinely like Ryback. I just think Owens is the right guy in the right spot right now.
Winner (and still WWE Intercontinental Champion): Kevin Owens

JT – If the internet is to be believed (and when has the internet ever been wrong?) Ryback is in line for a big push. Either way this should be a hard hitting match.
Winner: Ryback

Sam P – Kevin Owens. All day long. Give him every title, make him owner of the company and crown him Overlord Of The Universe.
Winner – Kevin Owens.

Widro – Even though he has been de-pushed considerably, Owens is still a standout on the roster.
Winner: Owens

WWE US Title
John Cena (c) vs. TBD

Pat Metalhead: My favorite for the role of TBD is still Dean Ambrose. There is the Daniel Bryan possibility, bu we still don’t know if he’s cleared or not. Whovere answers the challenge, he should win and be prepared to, in part, take over the role that Cena usually has on WWE shows. Unless they go for a Cena win and he then vacates due to “injury” or something, but that would be stupid. Then again this is WWE, stupid is their middle name nowadays.
Winner: TBD (Dean Ambrose)

Spain: Not much to discuss here, as we know that the Man of a Thousand Shirts is going to be taking some time off. Also, we don’t know his opponent, so I really don’t know what else to say. Holy shit: Owens should answer the challenge and hold the entire midcard title range.
Winner (and new WWE US Champion): AND HIS NAME IS NOT JOHN CENA!!

JT – I so wish TBD would win. He’s my favourite.
Winner: Cena

Sam P – The second PPV in a row where there’ll be a mystery participant. And I like it. Cena is losing this title, either tonight or on Raw, so who will it be? Ziggler seems the likeliest of choices, followed by Ambrose. Or possibly Cesaro or one of New Day. Hell, it could be Tyler Breeze or even Finn Balor. What I’m saying is, I don’t know. But it will be great. If it’s Daniel Bryan I’ll weep with joy. If it’s Big Show I’ll weep for very different reasons.
Winner – TBD

Widro – With Cena taking time off, it seems obvious but practical to take the title off him here
Winner: Breeze

Kickoff Show Match
Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett

Pat Metalhead: Fairly typical warm-up match for the crowds, filled with wrestlers that have little to do for the moment. I’m guessing a a crowd-pleasing babyface win here, since Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville are still very popular despite contra-productive booking. Should be fun.
Winner: Cesaro, Ziggler and Neville

Spain: I think that this team of Barrett and Sheamus (with Rusev, which I really don’t see the point of just yet) is actually quite a good thing for the tag team division: they work well together and have a fairly decent reason to actually team together, which is more than a fair few teams have had. It seems like their recent dominance is a sign that they’re on the rise, even if it’s just a little bit, and do you really think that WWE is going to balk at making Ziggler, Neville and Cesaro job once again?
Winners: Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett

JT – Much as I dislike the six man tag format, this has the potential to be a good match, as long as Sheamus doesn’t spend too much time in the ring.
Winners: Rusev, Sheamus & Barrett

Sam P – We just saw this match. This week. On Raw. The same exact match. Granted, it’s replacing the Wyatts v Orton and Ambrose due to unforeseen circumstances, but still. The faces will pick up the victory in what is a 6 nationality match, because Geordies are their own breed.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville

Widro – We’ve seen a lot of these guys in various combos, should be a lively pre-show match. I’ll go with the good guys.
Winner: Dolph, Cesaro, Neville
